Outdoor recreation abounds in the adorable town of High Bridge! The Borough’s older homes, dramatic church, and the Arches train trestle make this town a visual treat for bikers, hikers, and those just passing through. Main Street is dotted with eclectic dining and shopping options and just off Main street is an entrance to the Columbia Trail — New Jersey’s longest jogging and biking trail. Alongside and connected to the trail are Lake Solitude and the breathtaking Ken Lockwood Gorge — a well-known fly-fishing spot on the south branch of the Raritan River.
