Washington
Township
Don’t be confused, this lovely township in Warren County is one of six municipalities in New Jersey named Washington (one of which is a borough, five of which are townships). Washington Township, Warren County completely surrounds the borough of Washington. The Township residents love the peaceful, quiet country life, small-town feel of a close-knit community and schools. One of my personal favorite neighborhoods in Washington is Changewater. The neighborhood is defined by the Musconetcong River, which runs right through the center of it. The area has a fascinating history as well with homes dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, the Changewater trestle ruins from the old Lackawanna and one of New Jersey’s oldest murder mysteries!
